• Just a short word of feedback after exploring Simple Multi Inventory for WooCommerce.

We are a very small wine seller. We have three small stock locations. The stock we are selling from is at our home. So, all sales from the site should be deducted from the home stock. Whenever we bring stock from one of the other stock locations we make a transfer in the backend. This way, we have a view on the stock situation on the other locations that are not at our home.

So, in our scenario, the customer shouldn’t be confronted with these different stocks while making his order. Could it be an idea to be able to mark one of the stock locations as the default stock and have sales automatically deduct from this stock location without customers needing to select a stock location, i.e. if a default stock location is marked?

Also, when we add an order manually in the backend, then the general stock is being deducted and not any of the stock locations that the plugin added. This makes sense because there is no option to indicate stock locations in the backend. However, in this case, the sum of the different stock locations doesn’t equal the general stock any longer, which causes incorrect stock data. This too could be solved with a default stock location.

Why would the customer be bothered by stock locations if the products are delivered to him? It can only be interesting if he will pick up the goods and in this case it is rather a pickup location and not a stock location.

Thank you for making your plugin available. I’m sure it is a great help to many.
