• I am using OceanWP theme. Under templates, any new page or section template is created with the ‘header’ part from Travel embedded – which seems to be hard-coded into the Default Template. In the default template is a link to the standard cover.jpeg image that comes as part of the Travel content. The link points to another host https://travel.sgwpdemo.com

    <!– OceanWP CSS –>
    <style type=”text/css”>
    .background-image-page-header-overlay{opacity:0.7}.page-header{background-image:url( https://travel.sgwpdemo.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/cover.jpeg )

    Using Quick Edit I cannot change from the ‘Default Template’ to another template. When I choose update the choice of other template just reverts back to Default Template. This behavior is the same whether creating new section or new page.

    In the Elementor editor I do not have access to that part of the page or section, i.e. right click is browser context not an Elementor context.There is no Blue Outline around that section, it is simply not editable either using Elementor or WordPress Editor. I don’t mind the default template itself, but I expect to be able to change that image and it seems odd that the image itself is getting called from an external host.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

    Please go to Customize – General Options – Page Title and select Background style and upload an image. This will serve as a fallback if the image is not added to individual posts/pages.

    For posts, go to Blog – Single Post – Featured Image in Page Header and enable it. This will take the featured image and show it on the page header.

    For pages, go to the page – Edit – OceanWP Settings – Title – Title Style and select Background Image. Then upload an image. You can also use this option to replace the images for each post instead of the featured image.
