Default Value based on cart

I’m wondering if there is a way to change the default value of Product B based on the contents of the cart and/or price of the cart.

I have a product that comes in 2 variations, but you’d only pick the 2nd variation if you pick the same material for another product. I’m trying to get the default version of the product to match the product that is already in the cart.
