Default values when adding a property

Hi everybody,

I only sell properties.
Every time I add a new property, I need to select the Sell status. If I don’t select that the website doesn’t work properly.
That’s fine but I would like to know how to select default status value “Sales” in the backend administration?
There are more default values that I would like to select in the administration. For instance city. I almost always publish in the same city so I need to select the same city every time I add property.
The same applies for the country etc.
Where can we manage the default values or what php file we need to hardcode it?
