Hi, I’ve been having a problem trying to implement the WordPress default widget – RSS for the past week but with no success, vc editor won’t save the inputted feed address nor display the feed results in the page.

I’ve been on the fixing wordpress forum asking for assistance and in touch with my web hosts. I understand it only works with http feed url’s not https, i’ve checked through the functions, htaccess files and security plugin to check theres nothing blocking it and my web host has also checked theres nothing blocking it. I’m trying to move away from using a plugin to display the rss, it shouldn’t be necessary. I’ve also disabled all plugins other than vc and the problem persists.

An example of a feed im trying to implement on the page is…

My premium support package has expired so I can’t raise a ticket there.

Any ideas anyone? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for contacting us.
Can you please let us know as to which Visual Composer element are you using to add feed display on the page?

Hi, it’s not a vc element but the default wordpress rss widget, however it doesn’t work when visual composer is activated.
