Default WP year and category links

On most sites that I test with, using something like https://devjustin.com/2021/?cat=26 will pull all posts of a single category from a single year. However, this doesn’t work on one particular site – https://wt026165877.wpengine.com/2021/?cat=9 (which is pulling posts from multiple years, though the category is at least displaying correctly). Any ideas why?
Permalinks are “Day and name” in both cases.
