defaults not working

So I set all the defaults, but other than the text, it doesn’t seem to pull anything through to the buttons. I have tried adding the shortcode with no options [DKB] and with multiple or single options and it always renders as a black button, default style with the text I specified in settings. As I can set them all with each button individually it is not that big of a deal except for the custom colors since there does not seem to be another way to set the hover color (except overriding the css if I want all the buttons to be the same on the site).
