When I click anywhere in a list (when editing a post), either numbered or unordered, then there is a visable plus-segn (+), an icon, that turns up in the list. It is a white plus-segn inside a black square. The purpose of this sign is presumably to be a tool for extending the list. There is just one BIG problem.

This plus-segn does not dissappear and is in the way of editing the list, because the sign covers the text in the list.

This was not the case in WordPress 6.0. It turns up in version 6.1.

How do I remove this plus-segn?

It seems that the only way to remove the plus-sign is to make the list in HTML-block, but this should not be like that. This is obviously an error in the lists-block.

Please delete this post since there is no response. The list-block is still defective, so the issue is not resolved, but I am using HTML-block instead

    Thank you
