Defer parsing of javascript

Why do you need to delay JS?

Pagespeed suggested to defer parsing of javascript. I assume because of faster page loading. Javascript is almost 1mb on my site.

Where is JS being loaded at the moment, in the head of your page?

I will give a try right away. I tell you the results.

Seems that is working. Although some javascripts remained but all of them are from external sources. Facebook for example.

I used this plugin for the exact same reason and most of my other plugins had an adverse reaction to it. So I had to turn it off and am looking for a different solution.
