Defer parsing of javascript not possible with this theme?

  • Hi everybody,
    I want to defer most of the the javascript on my site. First I was using W3 Total Cache, but that didn’t let me defer the the javascript. And I was using a CDN, but am thinking of stopping with that. Want to reduce the costs of my website.
    I now try and use the Speed Booster Pack, but there also I can’t use the defer parsing of javascript, because then the site isn’t working right.
    I also can’t put the script, both js and css in the footer. Then my site doesn’t work well either.
    So this is theme related.
    I also tried to put a defer script in the functions.php, but that doesn’t work either.
    I have already read a lot about it, but I think the technical stuff is too difficult for me to try to solve that.

    BTW I am using the Custom Theme of Tempera.
