“Defer Render-blocking JS” removes paypal buttons

I’ve had to disable the “Defer Render-blocking JS” function entirely, even with it just activated and no JS selected, completely empty, it removes the Paypal buttons from my site, and the cart dropdown menu. Oddly, it only removes them if I am logged out. So normally I use vivaldi, logged in I see the buttons. I try chrome, not logged in, and they are not there….. yeah I wondered why I was getting no sales on my new site…..
