    Hello,

I have a site where the customer can pay with or without VAT according to their country.
I also use discount coupons, for example, 2 % discount to € 1000 included tax. The problem is if the customer pays without VAT, the discount should apply from € 833.33 excluded taxes (1000€ tax incl = 833,33€ tax excl). Or , in this case, it applies only € 1000 taxes excluded.

Does there is a solution to define the reductions on tax excluded price ?

    Thank you !

You cannot change the core calculation logic, only the options which control discounts. Prices inc tax vs prices ex tax both have different calculations.

e.g. 100 coupon for inc tax of 1000 would mean you end up paying 900
100 coupon for ex tax of 1000 would mean you end up paying 900 + tax on top.

Not sure if that helps or not :s

Well, I see what you mean. This won’t help my problem but atleast this explain why !

Thank you for your reply, i’ll try to find a way to do it differently
