Delay on page load

Hello,

I have recently noticed approx 1 sec delay when loading the website. There seems to be an “admin-ajax.php” call with “action=pll_xdata_check” param so I suggest this call is mage by PolyLang.

Is there anything I can try to troubleshoot it? I am using PolyLang Pro 2.2 with expired license and before I decide to renew it, is there a change that this is fixed in the latest PolyLang Pro version? I did not find anything related in release notes.
