Delete “About the Author” box

    At the bottom of all pages there is a box titled “About the Author.” I would like to delete this box completely. I’ve tried WPBeginner, which is my GoTo place, but the instructions just don’t seem to fit. I am not certain if this box is generated by WP or by Astra. I am using the “Simply Natural” theme.

  • In WordPress dashboard, go to “Appearance” > “Customize.”
    Find “Additional CSS.”
    Paste This:

    .ast-single-author-box { display: none; }

    Click “Publish” to save.

    asan53, Thank you. I had to add “.ast-author-meta {display:none}” to hide the image, but it worked like a charm! I do appreciate your assistance.

    Hi @maryann221,

    The Author Info that shows up at the bottom of the Posts is actually coming from the Astra Pro plugin. And there’s an option to disable it from the Astra Settings (Customizer).
