Delete an event without going to Manage Events?

Is there any way to delete an event from the font-end without it redirecting to the Manage Events page in the back-end?

I would like the user to be able to click on an event, then click delete, get a prompt to confirm or cancel and if they confirm it deletes the event and reloads the calendar page.
