Delete blank area on the right side of site

  • I am new to this theme and fairly new to wordpress as a whole. I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the unnecessary blank space on the right side of my site so the content will display across the entire screen. If anyone can please help me because everything I have read on past forums did not work for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    @magace – I have the same problem.
    I’m using a Mac and I see on the right hand side a gray line starting from the top and ending on the bottom.
    Checking my website on my brothers computer (he’s using Chrome like me) I found even a bigger gray line instead. What does it means? How can I sort it out?
    Any suggestions? ?

    Hi guys, I found a way:
    The “grey color” is the body background color. If you wanted that black to match your content area color scheme you could change your background color via Appearance > Customize > Colors > Background color -> set to #000.
