Delete by category – wrong result

I have been trying to use this plugin to delete products by category. Up to 5000 products at a time (for example).
It crashes most of the times. Is it possible to split this work into parts so that it would not crash but just would delete things slower and piece by piece?
Sometimes it does not crash and as a result shows that category has 0 products but category actually still has products. So I have to delete them manually.
