Hi, I have done a scan and delete of my media libray. worked fantastic and got rid of over 4000 images that were not being used in posts. Bravo.

In my database I can also see that there are thousands of items (copies of currently used items) that have been created by old themes or plugins. For example and old optimiser created webp for every image (thousands of them) but I don’t have that plugin or serve webp anymore. How do I get rid of all these? Would save me so many GB. Thanks

You would like to remove all the WebP, even if they have an original image in JPG? If yes, there is a solution! You will need to run a Filesystem scan. But before that, you need to modify your settings so that:

    Media Library: Not Checked
    Content: Not Checked
    Live Content: Not Checked
    Files Filter: /.webp/

That will list ALL the files in your /uploads directory, then only keep the .webp ones. Then, you can delete them.

    I hope it helps.
