Delete post attachments too

    I’m using the “Scheduler for Deleting Posts by Post Type”-Addon.
    However this leaves a lot of unused attachments behind.

    According to your repsonse https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/question-about-complete-deletion/ there is no inbuild function to remove the attachments at the same time.

    To simply delete unattached images is no option at all (this would delete other medias as well which we need).

    It would be much better if there would be an option to simply delete all attached media files to such a deleted post.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I agree that deleting all unattached images may not be the right approach all the time.

    Providing an option to delete attachments of the posts (provided that they are not used by other posts) that are getting deleted would be very helpful.
