  • It would be even better to give an option for the admin to select to delete the tables associated with the plugin instead of deleting it automatically. There have been times when I needed to uninstall or reinstall a plug-in only to find out I have to start all over again with data or re-import the data from a backup. ??

Yes, that’s why I don’t delete the tables on activation: you might be temporarily deactivating, in which case you don’t want to lose all your data.

I will see if there’s some good way of allowing table deletion safely.
