Delete reference to the original item

We understand that you’re encountering an issue regarding deleting a reference to the original item.

Could you check if you are using the latest version of Yoast Duplicate Post v4.4? Also, is this related to the ‘clone’ or ‘rewrite & republish’ feature?

Would it be possible for you to attach a screenshot (using snipboard.io or imgur.com) to share a link here so we can better understand what “option to delete reference to the original item” you mean as we’re not sure which part or section you’re referencing.

As a follow-up to this question.
Before I found the setting to break the link to an original post, I have inadvertently created many published posts with links to original items — sometimes the same item if I used it as a template when creating a new draft.
Is there a way of bulk deleting these links or do I have to do it post by post as I have been doing using the WP Quick Edit menu?

Here’s the weird thing.

The original post that these things are linked to was published months after they were published.

How is that even possible . . . when it didn’t exist.

Original post date: November 12, 2021.

At the moment I’m deleting links from posts dated October 2020.

Something very wrong here.
