When I try to delete user of my blog gives me an error (when the plugin is disabled deletion occurs successfully):

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in W:\domains\test\wp-includes\capabilities.php on line 655

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at W:\domains\uouapps.omega\wp-includes\capabilities.php:655) in W:\domains\test\wp-includes\pluggable.php on line 896

    Thank you, great plugin!

  • Hi,

    Glad you’re enjoying the plugin.

The second error is caused by the first error appearing before the page output starts, so fixing the first error will make the second go away.

If you switch to the default WordPress theme and deactivate all other plugins is the problem fixed?

If i activate default WordPress theme and deactivate “Events Manager” and deactivate Events Manager problem fixed!

    Hi there,
glad I found this. I have EXACT the same problem. My problem is not solved by activating the standard theme. And this error has got something to do with the events manager plugin. After disabling the plugin the error disappears. When I enable the plugin again, the error is back. Any idea how to fix this?

I can use all my plugins but EM and there is no error. When I use only the EM plugin and nothing else the error is still there…

sorry not getting this issue; try to deactivating(Except for EM) all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

sorry if my writing was not clear: EM is the only plugin I have activated right now and I get this error, when I try to delete an user:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /www/htdocs/…/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 655

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /www/htdocs/w011c373/public/chribopub1wp/wp-includes/capabilities.php:655) in /www/htdocs/…/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 896

Not a single other plugin is active.

    Hi angelo,
Is there any information I can provide to help you solve or understand the problem?

I cannot edit my post, so I have to write another post:

I did set up a complete fresh WP with no other plugins and no other Themes or anything else. Everything works fine. Then I installed the EM plugin and I get the exact error as above. In case this helps: The WP installation is a german translation…

edit: Now I installed the official english wordpress and I still get the the error described above…

What version of WordPress and Events Manager are you using?

WordPress 3.8.1 and Events Manager 5.5.2 (and also 5.5.1)

Do you have any plugins or custom code running that deals with user capabilities or user roles?

Dear caimin_nwl, as I wrote above (4 posts earlier): I have 2 wordpresses (a german and an english version) freshly installed with NO themes and no plugins and no custom code or anything else. And I still get this error…

I also tried php as cgi or apache module. Does not make any difference. Can I provide any other information that might help you trying to solve this problem?

hmm, this weird since we are not getting this error; can you try to deactivate and reactivate EM?

already did. did not change anything.

I also setup a complete clean and new wordpress (with nothing else installed but the clean wordpress files. no addons, no themes, no custom files, css, etc) and I am getting this error…

It could be that you have some files missing from your Events Manager download. Can you try with a fresh download of the plugin?
