    Hello,

My site has been in development, and I have done many test purchases.

Now it is time to go live, and I wish to delete all data from WooCommerce Analytics, so I start off from zero in the statistics when having real purchases.

    I have:

-deleted all test orders, also emptied trash bin

-went to woo > status > tools > and cleared all transients, template cache, and analytics cache

-cleared all cachen in my cache plugin

Still, there is statistic information left in Analytics.

All the order numbers have been removed, but the information such as items and earnings are there (earnings are in minus values and red numbers). Same for Total Sales etc, and number of sold items.

Is there a way to completely clear the Analytics tool from all old data?

    Thank you!

    Best regards,

    Hans

  • Hey there, @hans410947! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Can you please try emptying the following lookup tables?

    wc_category_lookup
    wc_customer_lookup
    wc_order_coupon_lookup
    wc_order_product_lookup
    wc_order_tax_lookup

Are you comfortable dropping or emptying those database tables on your site? Most hosts offer a tool called phpMyAdmin that lets you manage your database. If you’d rather not do this yourself I’d reach out to your host and ask if they can do this for you.

Before doing anything database related, I’d highly suggest backing up your site and database. You can also clone your site into a staging version to run this test.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hello and thank you for your response!

I did empy those tables. After each table that was emptied, I got a message that nothing was removed as they all seemed to be already empty.

The issue is still there, with the numbers and statistics still in the analytics.

    Best regards,

    Hans

    Hey, @hans410947!

    Thanks for clarifying!

I found another thread where the user mentioned having this issue and that it was solved after they logged out and in again.

Can you please do that and let us know if it worked for you?

    Looking forward to your reply.

Hello and thank you for helping!

It did not help to log out and in again. I even cleared browser cache and rebooted the computer, but does not solve the issue.

But I was thinking.. In the different Analytics tables, there are only negative values. I have been testing a lot with refunding and partially refunding on the test purchases. Is there a special database table that handles refunds?

    Best regards,

    Hans

Hi Hans, @hans410947, thank you for the additional details.

As I didn’t see this mentioned in the thread, did you also clear the wc_order_stats table? This may help you.

    Cheers!

Yes, clearing that table, and then clearing the analytics cache helped, thank you very much!
