Deleted All wordpress Files but have databases .. need help restoring sites

  • Hello i just manged to delete 8 websites off my server … dont ask…
    I have no backups so i am forced to restore and fix them by hand

    I have a few quesitons about how to do this
    I know i can upload the wp files and change the wp-config to match the old database but i am concerned about the version wp was when the delete happened.

    Does this matter ? i dont want to upload version 3.7 if the wp version was only 3.2 when i deleted the files.
    Is there a way to determine the wp version using phpadmin.

    Also is there a way to see what plugins were installed and activated at the time so i can upload them all so all settings will not be lost.

    any help with this or a guide would be greatly appricated .

  • If the sites were very very old and not updated (below 2.7 I believe), may be an issue…otherwise just put the latest wp files, theme files, and plugin files in place properly and run the site…it will force a db update…I would backup all those db’s now (first).
