Deleted Blog Posts Category

  • I read a couple of posts describing how to remove a category on my Blog and how the posts attached to that category would then move over to my default category.

    I did that and now cannot see the posts that were deleted.

    Any ideas? Thanks,

  • Are the posts still visible from the posts page?

    How did you delete the category? Deleting a category should push all those posts to the “Uncategorized” category if they weren’t included in another category.

    Hi, thanks for replying. That’s what I thought would happen. (I’m in Australia so we have a time difference, hence my late reply)

    I think i deleted the category from “categories” and when I did that the area went RED and they were gone but the number of posts in the default did not change.

    Would’t it be wonderful if we could just click on a category and literally move it over another one and un-click to merge the two? (dreaming)
