    Hi,

    Once a viewer clicks, on the “No” or reject button, that deletes their cookies from my website. How can I prove that I haven’t retained any of their information or that it has, in effect, been deleted? [As per GDPR consumer rights.]

    Hi @glippie,

    Our plugin does not address compliance related to user data collected via forms in the website. Our compliance is limited to obtaining or rejecting the consent to information collected via cookies.

    The plugin saves consent in a cookie named “viewed_cookie_policy”. Users can check the value of it is set to NO under browser console to ensure that the cookie reject settings is saved, assuming that you are not storing any data collected via any cookies in your site by some other way.
