This is a very good gallery plugin if you want it to take over your entire wordpress install.

I was happy with this plugin until I discovered a few things that I didn’t like.
1. Does not use the standard wordpress media library
2. renames any images you upload into a simple numbered jpg. Eg: 1234.jpg
3. does not upload in month/year directories.
4. all jscript & css are uploaded on every page even if there are no galleries on that page.
5. more bloat on each version release.
6. does not use wordpress standard wp_enqueue
7. does not use a standard .css file.
