Deleted Forum Page still loads

  • Hey guys, im in a bit of a troubled state >_<
    I deleted an old forum page because it didn’t utilise the width properly and wouldnt let me alter the page layout, so i made another page and tried to use the same url yet the old page continues to be displayed. I have no idea how to over write the old page.
    When i preview it prior to publishing it shows me the new layout, but when i publish it reverts back to the old one.

    The problem was the slug, i worked it out myself. For some reason the Forums slug held onto the previous page which no longer exists… That appears to be a fault within the code.
    I reworded the slug and it free’d up the attached name. i now have access to my url again.. how ridiculous is that -_-‘
