    Hi,

I see every time the same results for “DELETED ORPHANS” after running “Optimize DB (1click)”.

Please see below two images both run at a different time but shows the same “DELETED ORPHANS” tables.

Once deleted tables or rows again showing the same results.

Is it normal or I am doing something wrong.

    Thank you
    Regards
    Kapil

  • I’m seeing something similar, orphans don’t seem to be deleted.

    Thank you

    Hey guys,

Can you try the following method:
    https://scottnelle.com/648/clean-bloated-wp_term_relationships-table/

Please let me know if that worked for you.

    peace,
    Rolf

    Hi Rolf,

I tried the search in that article but it didn’t show any results.

    Thanks,
    Tony

    Hey Tony,

You mean the SELECT query gives an empty result set?

The ones you see in my plugin are they postmeta or term relationship orphans?

    Rolf

Hi Rolf, I didn’t notice before, but yes they were all in postmeta. I made the change in that was able to get rid of all those rows.

However, it was a lot more work having to go into the database and manually delete them, and I was only able to do it because that article gave the actual SQL commands needed. Isn’t the point or your plugin to make it easy for non-tech folks?

All the other functions seem to work fine, so thanks for the plugin, and your help.

    Hey Tony,

You probably had too many orphans.

I bet from now on the plugin will do it’s job.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Rolf

Hi Rolf, update: I didn’t realize till later that many other important pages on my website were deleted using that process, so I guess I can’t use it after all. I’ll have to live with all those orphans ??

    Hey guys,

I finally found the bug that causes this issue and fixed it in v4.9.1 of my plugin.

    Everything should be fine now!

    peace,
    Rolf
