Don’t know how this happened. My solution:

    1) Click to see WP Default page list.

    2) Click to open the page editor (quick edit didn’t work for this solution).

    3) Change the URL slug and update the page.

    4) Return to Nested pages list and page exists again.

    5) Click to open the page editor.

    6) Replace the original URL slug and update the page.

This seems to have gotten the pages back into the Nested Page list. Phew!

PS – Thing I tried that didn’t work:
    – deactivating & reactivating
    – deactivating, deleting, reinstalling, reactivating
    – moving the page to trash from default list, then restoring the page

My pages have disappeared from the Nested pages view – i think this was triggered by deleting the Nested pages created menu – the actual pages still exist in the Default view – but i can’t seem to get them back into the Nested view. brandons solution doesn’t work for me.

If i turn on the ‘Disable Menu Sync Completely’ i can see them in the Nested view … my issue is i now want to recreated the menu … so need it turned back off.

Anyone have a idea how to achieve this?

I believe this is an issue related to a couple of bugs that came up with the 4.4 update.

Version 1.5.4 of the plugins should resolve this, but you may need to regenerate the menu to get the pages back into the Nested View.

    • Visit Appearance > Menus
    • Select the Nested Pages Menu and Delete it
    • Visit Pages and make sure the sync option is checked
    • Revisit Appearance > Menus. Your Nested Pages generated menu should be back. You’ll need to reassign the menu to the appropriate theme location
