    I tested out PowerPress a little to see if it would work for my purposes, but I have determined that it would be better to simply customize my RSS feed. Unfortunately, even after deactivating and deleting the PowerPress plugin, my feed continues to show PowerPress generated data like the data below:

    	<generator>https://www.ads-software.com/?v=4.8</generator>
    <!-- podcast_generator="Blubrry PowerPress/7.1" mode="simple" feedslug="feed" -->
    	<itunes:summary></itunes:summary>
    	<itunes:author></itunes:author>
    	<itunes:explicit>yes</itunes:explicit>
    	<itunes:image href="" />
    	<itunes:type>episodic</itunes:type>
    	<itunes:owner>
    		<itunes:name></itunes:name>
    		<itunes:email></itunes:email>
    	</itunes:owner>
    	<managingEditor></managingEditor>
    	<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
    	<image>
    		<title></title>
    		<url></url>
    		<link></link>
    	</image>
    	<itunes:category text="Arts">
    		<itunes:category text="Performing Arts"></itunes:category>
    	</itunes:category>

    These fields aren’t actually empty in my feed, but it serves no purpose to share the dummy text here.

    Is there a hidden file somewhere that is left behind even after you delete the plugin? I’m baffled. How do I make this go away?

    I’m obviously not of sound mind to be working on anything right now. I forgot to clear my cache. *headdesk*

    This problem was not a problem at all and how I managed not to think of the most obvious solution is beyond me. All resolved now.

    Glad to see you were able to figure it out, Rose! We’ve all been there. ??

    Hello Rose,

    I’m also glad you figured your problem out.

    I am curious what options you were looking for in PowerPress? There are a lot of customization options that set just about every iTunes/Google play tag, it may be something that you over looked. If desired, I can explain how you can customize screens and such if that’s your ultimate goal. PowerPress is used by many companies as well as individual podcasters who have customized the interface, display, as well as the RSS feeds.

    Thanks,
    Angelo
