• My Site is completely down. I hope I didn’t delete my whole blog. Please help. I feel illiterate in wordpress, I was trying to back up my content from my ftp site but instead deleted something or my whole blog. Not sure where to go from here or how to reinstall my blog to get it back up. Help!

my blog is https://momentsbymichelle.com/blog . Nothing is there. ): My website is still up, so luckily I didn’t delete that. Just how to get my blog back up. There are still wordpress files in my ftp folder. Is there some kind of trashcan I can recover files I deleted off the internet?

do you have a recent backup?

Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

Where can I get a fresh download of wordpress?

Last night I got my site up and at least the pictures were online and now there is nothing.. https://momentsbymichelle.com/blog . Is there someone I can call to help on the phone? That is frustrating that there is no phone help.

I have the backups files that they emailed me every week. And I tried to backup the files to my computer last night, but it was after everything got messed up. What can you do with the files that are emailed to you saying they are backups of your blog?

The big red download button at the top of every page on www.ads-software.com.

No. WordPress is free software and this volunteer-staffed forum is the only free support available on www.ads-software.com

    Try hiring someone.

Where can you hire someone? Any advice? I’m in Huntington Beach CA. Do I reupload the whole wp-admin folder and wp-includes folder and everything else on the main page except the wp-content folder? Will my images and blog be deleted? My photos and content? Sorry if I’m not making sense. I’m not familiar so much with this kind of stuff.

This is what it says right now and I can’t even get to my admin page?

    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
