Deleted wp-config.php

Our wp-config.php file was deleted, but we have a backup. We have SFTP’d into our backend, but it won’t let us upload the new wp-config. It says we don’t have permission.
How can we upload the backup wp-config file?
We are running wordpress on google cloud server.

Well, here is the complete solution to upload any file including WordPress config. file on sftp. I followed the same method and it worked. I hope it will work for you as well.
