“deleteme” files being flagged in scan

    Hi. I recently had 3 files flagged from a Wordfence scan on a GoDaddy hosted site. Never had problems w/ this site before. Can anyone tell me if these are of any concern?

    Critical Problems:

    * File appears to be malicious: backup/deleteme.2f7c2801a31844ff8f26e772e4ef95c4.php

    * File appears to be malicious: backup.SITEEXAMPLE.com/deleteme.2f7c2801a31844ff8f26e772e4ef95c4.php

    * File appears to be malicious: SITEEXAMPLE.com/deleteme.2f7c2801a31844ff8f26e772e4ef95c4.php

  • Hey @markmadedesign,

    These seem to be temporary back up files. What plugin are you using o backup your site?

    Can you please share the contents in a pastebin.com and we’ll double-check to make sure they aren’t malicious, and find out why they’re getting flagged.
