Yes I do. I wish I could copy and paste it to the main site. Basically, I’m just wanting to delete the subsite and move/recreate everything on the main. The only difference to the user should be the forums now have the same theme as the main site rather than the subsite, and would be at main.com/forums rather than main.com/subsite/forums

The ONLY way I know is using https://github.com/pippinsplugins/bbPress-Export-and-Import and … that’s a nightmare :/

Basically you’ll want to activate bbPress on the main site, then use the plugin by Pippin to copy the forums over.

Okay, but let’s go down hypothetically the road where I don’t care where bbpress is installed but I want to move buddy press over to the main site from the subsite where it is installed and network activated from. Is it as simple as going around to the cpanel and moving the buddy press file from subsite to main site? Or is there another way to do it, and is it going to also be a nightmare? I was thinking it may be easy to just delete buddy press and reinstall on the main site?

You’d have to ask at buddypress.org and I SUSPECT it would be the same drama.
