Deleting all users fails with 404 – File or directory not found.

  • I am running WP 4.2.1. When I attempt to purge all users I receive the following error and the deletion fails:

    “404 – File or directory not found.”

    I am able to successfully delete on user at a time.

    Yes, I have removed all plugins and the error still occurs.

    Yes, I have reverted to both 2012 and 2015 Themes and the error still occurs.\

    More info:

    I have narrowed bug down a bit. The issue only occurs when clicking the column heading to toggle select all.

    Clicking the first username row and holding the shift key and selecting the last username row, the deletion works as desired.
