Deleting Comments admin level

By default a user can only edit and delete posts of users that have a lower level than his own. So probably those posts were made by the admin which has level 10. If you want you can change all that. Take a look at this thread:

hmm, that seems to work, except for the comments. I did scroll down further in the edit.php file and added the = sign but it still limits my options on the comment section.

Did you add that “=” in two places?

because that works for me. All users with the same level can edit and delete eachothers posts.

yep, i added an equal sign in 3 places total. 2 were around 116 as stated in your original post. and the other was further down in the comment line.

Posts made with level 10 are only editable by the admin (the only one with level 10). So if you want to edit or delete these posts or comments, you should login as administrator ?3r use SQL to change the authorname of all the posts with author ‘admin’ into an authorname that has the level you want. So this could be level 9.

yea, but these posts were made in the second author’s post which both authors are level 9.
