deleting previous sub-domains before enabling multisite

Hi,

I was previously using sub-domains on my website.

So, it was a main site, with 2 sub-domains.

I am switching to use multisite with sub-directories.

I have backed up all the sites. Should I delete the already created sub-domains on the host before I enable multisite and switch to sub-directories?
