• First, Employee Scheduler Rocks! Thank You!

    Question:
We are re configuring shifts and need to delete future assigned shifts for all employees. When we go to the Shifts>All Shifts>Title> and try to use the “Delete All Shifts In Series” function it isn’t working. What is the best way to do this?

    Thanks!

Hmm, that function is working for other users…. What version of Employee Scheduler and Employee Scheduler Pro are you using? Can you try disabling all the other plugins on your site to see if there is a plugin conflict? If that doesn’t help, would you be willing to give me an admin account on your site so I can log in and take a look?

    Thanks!

As it turns out it was was only some shifts at the beginning of the list that we were not able to delete. When we went to the end and started deleting form the last ones backwards we were able to whittled down the list and there were only a few that would not delete.

It would have been helpful to have the the “Delete all shifts in this series” function in the filter shifts page so we could delete all shifts for all employees between date x and y that have status “Assigned” or have filtering filtering available for the all shifts page. We inadvertently deleted some shifts that the status was “Worked” that we didn’t want to delete and wound up having to rebuild them.

    Thanks

Glad you figured it out, although it is very strange that some shifts weren’t deleting…..

I will add the ability to delete shifts from the “filter shifts” page – thanks for the suggestion!
