Deleting the ‘typing text’

I’ve just installed the beautiful Ascend theme (website still in development) but need some help deleting the ‘typing text’ (THE MOUNTAINS ARE CALLING / ADVENTURE AWAITS) on the home page. How do I do that? Thanks!
