  • This is about as easy as it gets. Two ways to do it, really. The easiest way though I would think would be to just go to your themes directory, found here: wp-contents/themes – delete the themes you don’t want to use.

Make sure you have the theme you are using currently as the “current” theme. Also, do a backup just to be on the safe side. Always backup.

    Hope that helps

If the default theme is one you’re not using, I’d recommend keeping it around anyway. It’s still beneficial to have because when a theme leaves out say the comments template, the one from the default is used.

I too want to delete some of my themes and have tried to do so just as wordpress and splanters suggested. However, despite deleting the theme files off my computer and uploading the change…the themes I deleted still show and exist on my presentation panel. Please help me get rid of the clutter of unused themes by telling me what I’m missing.

BlogRguy, I also had the same problem, not sure how to fix it. Any ideas anyone?

Don’t delete them form your computer. Delete them from your server!

Well, I did delete them off my web server ?? I must’ve messed something up
