Deleting Themes And Plugins ! Solve it please !

  • If i Deleting any themes and plugin … all settings and data still saved in database … so pleas fix it … If i Delete any themes or plugin .. All Settings and data of that theme should be deleted !

    How are you deleting them?

    It’s up to each theme and plugin to remove what it’s saved in the database. It’s not done automatically. If the theme/plugin author hasn’t done it, then it won’t get done. There are some plugins that delete everything, and others that give you the option of deleting or not, but the majority don’t do anything.

    The reason for this is very simple. What happens when you want to use that theme/plugin again? If all of the settings are gone it could take days (or more) to add back all of the data that was in there. Because of that, and the fact that it’s almost impossible to determine exactly what a plugin has added to the database from outsdie of that plugin, it’s not something that can be forced by the WordPress core.
