    Hi

On checkout, a customer has no fields for entering a delivery address.

In your reply to an earlier post on this topic, you asked whether the site admin had ‘enabled the delivery address from the checkout page?’

I am seeing no such option in the settings. Does a short-code need to be added to the checkout page perhaps?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Yes you need to enable the fields from the checkout options of the plugin settings. You will get the fields like Phone, Door/Flat number, landmark in your checkout page.

The only fields displayed are –

    Checkout Field Options

Enable Phone Field Check this option to enable this field on checkout page
Enable Door/Flat Field Check this option to enable this field on checkout page
Enable Landmark Check this option to enable landmark on checkout page

but none to add delivery address fields to the checkout page.

    Hello,

The delivery address field will be added in the next version of the plugin. But if you need it urgently, then we can provide you the custom code for that. Please let us know about your requirement.

    Thank You

OK, and I would appreciate if you could share the custom code, but I would suggest that you prioritise the addition of an address field, as a food delivery website where customers can’t enter their address doesn’t really make sense (?) (It is also a bit confusing that your demo app has this feature)

Aha – It appears you have fixed the issue, and I now have address fields showing in my checkout page. Seems to all work OK, except for the first address field, below Enter Your Address, showing ‘Sorry! Something went wrong’.

@philosurfa where did you find your fix? I only have phone, flat number, & landmark.

    Same here. @philosurfa

Ref ADDRESS entry bar at checkout. There only seems to be one address bar. The intuitive actions for the customer is just to write the first line of the address and no postcode. So unless the delivery address and Billing address are the same then you don’t capture the full address.

Can we have an entry for the postcode/Zip Code?

As an immediate fix I could change the text to make sure the customer puts full address into the single line. (I cannot find the text in the editor to change it)

    Thanks in advance
