Hi there! I need a variable product in Woocommerce to display as in stock, but the other variations to be “allow backorder, but notify” I can’t make it this way though, I can set everything as backorder or I can set everything in stock – I really need this to work as I need to be able to notify my customers about the longer delivery times, that may come.

    Hi @marcusmichael,

I need a variable product in Woocommerce to display as in stock, but the other variations to be “allow backorder, but notify” I can’t make it this way though, I can set everything as backorder or I can set everything in stock – I really need this to work as I need to be able to notify my customers about the longer delivery times, that may come.

Within the free WooCommerce plugin you can set specific variations to be backorder an notify like this example below by enabling the Manage Stock checkbox on the specific variation.

That will set only a specific variation on a product to be backorder and notify.

    I hope this helps.
