I see a lot of negative reviews here, so I am super cautious with this.

Do you have a full functional demo somewhere? I cannot find it and that raises alarm bells. I want (need) to SEE and work with it before spending time and/or money.

Oh, a money back guarantee is not what I mean. I will NOT buy something and hope to get my money back when it doesn’t work. I need to see it fully functional upfront, before paying anything or spending a ton of time to get things working.

If your software is really that great, please allow me to see and work with a demo.

Maybe a fully functional trial or something.

    Mark

    Hi,

I checked out your demo and I have some questions, since I’m interested in running evergreen webinars.

First I looked at the webhooks, which is a must-have for me. But I only see 2 webhooks: “New Registration” and “Attended Webinar”. Is it possible to extend this? I need webhooks for: “Missed Webinar” and “Left Early” too.

And how can I know what field data is sent in the current webhooks?

Furthermore: can I register attendees via an API or script?

And then this, which is super important… I don’t see possibilities to add ‘timed events’ to an evergreen webinar.

    I need to:
    – show several and different text messages to attendees at certain time points during the evergreen webinar
    – show buttons with Calls To Action at certain time points during the evergreen webinar
    – show an offer at a certain time during the evergreen webinar
    – show a button that offers a (PDF) handout at a certain time during the evergreen webinar.

    Kind regards,
    Mark

PS: your demo resets every hour. That makes it impossible for me to checkout the webinar as an attendee… Could it be that this demo is the light version? If yes, do you have a pro version demo?

    Hi Mark,

    > But I only see 2 webhooks: “New Registration” and “Attended Webinar”
Correct, we don’t have webhooks for left early or missed webinar at the moment but we are planning on adding it in the coming month or so. We have the data available in the database so we just need to create a cron job to process it

Both current webhooks contain this information as POST data:

    – webinar_id
    – webinar_name
    – webinar_time
    – attendee_name
    – attendee_email

    > can I register attendees via an API or script?
Not at the moment, again this is on our todo list.

    > show several and different text messages to attendees at certain time points during the evergreen webinar

We have CTAs in the plugin that can be shown at a specific time in the webinar, that could include a call to action or links to handouts etc. but we only support one CTA per webinar at the moment.

    > your demo resets every hour. That makes it impossible for me to checkout the webinar as an attendee

This is for security so that the site does not get spammed with attendees/webinars. You should be able to test shot term webinars as attendees such as the just in time, live or right now webinars.

If you’d like to test it longer we can disable the reset for a short time for you. Just let us know.

Thanks again for your quick response.

Further testing is not necessary for now. I will do that when the todo items have been implemented. Until then, I cannot integrate this software in my marketing flow, so I’ll have to wait.

The thing is that I’m currently using Everwebinar and I need to extend my subscription with them in about 1 month. And since they’re lacking some functionality (even in their new version), I’m looking for another evergreen webinar solution. If your software provides it, the choice to switch over to you is quickly made…

Is it also possible to extend the functionality to have multiple CTA’s, each on their own time, where you can set the time they appear and how long they stay visible?

    Thanks again for your answer.

    Hi Mark,

OK no problem. I’ll make a note to let you know when we have them added, hopefully that will be before your renewal comes.

This may take a little more time but we’ll do our best.

    > Furthermore: can I register attendees via an API or script?
We are going to be adding a simple PHP api for registering attendees. Would that cover your needs or are you looking for a REST/Web API?

    Hey Mike,

It would be awesome to keep me updated ?? I hope it’ll be before the renewal indeed!

I can live with a temporary situation of having only 1 CTA. But more would be so much beter. So it’s greatly appreciated if you can add something like that too.

Maybe something in the form of a certrain (fixed) position where a text string can appear. (with HTML markup, so it’s easy to style and add a link). That in addition to the current CTA.

The CTA area is mainly used to make an offer at the end of the webinar. And the other area is mainly used to inform the attendees of something. (As I mentioned earlier, giving them a link to a PDF, send them an extra written welcome. Those kinds of things)

A simple PHP api would be more than sufficient. At this moment from my Marketing automation, I send a webhook to a PHP script. This script ‘catches’ the email address and name and posts it to Everwebinar. This could also be your PHP api. I Just need to know what fields I need to send.

And what your PHP script returns. Preferably an succes/fail status, plus the webinar data, like url, etc. Then my script catches these return values and updates the fields in the Marketing Automation.

Then the Marketing automation sends emails, etc, with all relevant information.

    Hey Mark,

OK great, I’ll let you know!

Multiple CTAs would be a great addition for us so I think we will be adding that soon.

    I’ll be in touch

Any updates, please? My Everwebinar renewal date is in a week. I need to know if I can start using your software. If not, I need to renew EW.

Hi Mark, apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

We’ve been reorganising things a little internally over the last few weeks so unfortunately we haven’t moved forward with the development plan as much as we’d have liked.

I expect we’ll be releasing the API to register attendees in the next 2 weeks but I don’t have any timeframe for multiple CTAs yet.

Can I ask that you email us directly at [email protected]? We are not allowed to offer support for the premium plugin on www.ads-software.com.
