Demo content loading issue

We’re sorry to hear that you’re having issues with importing demo content.

I’m not sure what you meant by “your own theme”?

One Click Demo import is designed to import demo content for a theme based on the .xml file that was created for that specific theme.

The demo import files are generally created by theme authors (as mentioned in our user guide).

Using the .xml file on an unrelated theme will yield unintended results.

If I’m misunderstanding any part of the issue you are facing, please let me know.

Just for reference what theme are you attempting to import demo content for and how did you attempt the import, was it created by the theme author?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are using this theme (https://www.ads-software.com/themes/multifox/) it has the demo content ( https://multifoxtheme.com/lite/ ). I’ve exported the demo content in .xml format and tried to import with One Click Demo Import it doesn’t show me the output of whatever the theme could be.

Is that enough to export the XML format and import it in? Else you may suggest any other way to export the demo content and import it with one click demo import to view the demo page like the theme author.

Thank you for getting back to us.

I installed the Multifox theme and can see that there are no predefined import files available for this theme. This means the theme author hasn’t integrated with One Click Demo import.

You mentioned that you “exported the demo content in .xml format”.

How did you do this? That implies that you already had a WordPress installation with the demo content already installed and then exported it via your WordPress tools.

It may be in your best interest to reach out to the theme author to see if they allow for some other means of importing the demo content. Unless they have directly integrated with One Click demo or shared a .xml file you unfortunately would not be able to import the demo content.

Yes, I’ve exported the .xml file in the default WordPress export function in the Tools -> Export option. After the process is completed will import the .xml file to one click demo import plugin and update it.

Can you please guide me how to integrated One click demo import plugin in the theme to export / import the demo content. If you have any documentation (or) article link it will be more helpful for us to implement the functionality and using one click demo import plugin.

I reached out to our developers and they confirmed that this does not support One Click Demo Import.

Please note that the integration process is involved, we have instructions in our documentation here (https://ocdi.com/quick-integration-guide/), however, as I’ve mentioned previously, it would be best if you either asked the theme author to support One Click Demo Import or ask them if they have an established means of importing their demo content.

Thanks for your reply. So, as per our conversation, the one click demo plugin won’t be used for the export and import demo content in other theme author themes? Until then, they are not integrated with one click demo import plugin.

Actually, my requirement is I need a one click demo plugin as Unyson plugin functionality. Here we can export and import the demo content. So, that is what I’m expecting from the One Click Demo plugin as well.

Another one we are also one of the theme author, I’ve tried and follow the same steps that in the article ( https://ocdi.com/quick-integration-guide/ ) but still the color and design layout were still changed and affected.
