Demo site?

No, not at the moment at least.

I used to own a tattoo shop as well and from my experience the ‘time’ that an appointment takes is based on the job as you can understand / know so the only appointments that would benefit from a booking would be just design previews or something like that. Actual Tattoo appointments have an X amount of time per tattoo session so it’s hard to be precise when leaving it to a user preference…

I don’t know if I’m explaining it correctly, it’s just my thought process and the plugin is based basically on how I was operating my shop ^_^.

That all makes sense – I suppose it would be easy enough to use Contact Form 7 or something to act as the initial enquiry point!

A simple inquiry form would be the best option looking it from management side. You and the artist should decide when the appointment should take place and how long it would take ( along with informing / talking with the client ) not the client on his own.. So a simple form to then get in touch would be the best option in my experience.

What I could do though is a front-end widget calendar to show the available ‘free’ dates at least so the clients know when there are full-day spots open or something like that? How does that sound ? ??

Can we have the ability to create a new client within the appointments tab – would be easier if you’re entering details during a phone call for example.

Hey sorry for the late reply, we are having a WordPress Meetup today and my timetables are somewhat broken from running around hahah.

That’s a really good suggestion and I will definitely take a look into that to see if I could combine 2 post types into 1 form basically somehow ( never saw a plugin doing it but hey there’s always a first time! ).

Sorry for the late reply but I’ve been tasked to create the new gwtd website so I’ve been busy with the meta teams here.

There is no ‘correct’ way of implementing 2 post types together in a single screen without messing with WP itself at the moment or by creating off-road concepts of inserting items to the DB.

Although it would be possible to do it would mean that it could create potentialy some problems to some installations and as I don’t know what everybody runs on their own website I’m not taking that chance.

If anything comes up in the future though I’ll sure implement it for ease of access.
