Hey guys, I it came to my attention that the plugin is not working on this website. When I press deny, nothing happens, the cookies from complianz don’t take the deny value and if I delete everything, all the cookies instantly come back after refresh.

I have tried disabling other plugins, but no luck. Any idea what’s wrong?

    Thanks!

    Hi @davidsimon14,

I see the cookies being set correctly, whereby ‘statistics’ is always on allow, but this could be configured in the wizard and is not wrong per se.

Is there something specific you’d like to see blocked, that isn’t? This way we can have a detailed look at a service or script.

    regards Aert

    Hi Aert,

    thank you for your answer.

Our customers had a SEO audit for which they told us that the deny function didn’t work.

The statistics are probably set up so they are always on, but I might have to disable it. I can see some stuff however that seems out of place when I deny the cookies :

    .fontawesome.com

    .cleantalk.org

    .cleantalk.org

Is it supposed to delete everything when I deny? Because it does not. I cleared the cookies and most of them didn’t come back. There are still a lot that came back, mostly from complianz, is it normal even if I deny? Is it GDPR compliant?

I disabled WProcket yesterday, so it might have been this, I reenabled it and will test it further.

    Hi @davidsimon14,

The Complianz cookies are “Functional” first-party (own domain) cookies and are therefore allowed to be set. https://cookiedatabase.org/service/complianz/

Cleantalk is the anti-spam solution activated on this website, blocking the scripts/cookies from this tool would interfere with its core functionality (spam prevention). https://cookiedatabase.org/service/cleantalk-spam-protect/

If you’d like to prevent loading Font Awesome from their CDN, you could go for a locally hosted implementation instead:

    https://fontawesome.com/v5/docs/web/setup/host-font-awesome-yourself

    Kind regards, Jarno
