    Hi! We want to enable/disable PO Box shipping based on shipping class. Is this possible to do with your plugin? We only want to disable PO Box shipping for one shipping class within one shipping zone. Thanks!

    We’ve gotten requests like this (except based on shipping methods instead).

    How would you expect this to work if there are mixed shipping classes in the cart? Would it default to not-shipping?

    Hi! Thanks for responding. What I’m trying to accomplish is a bit confusing, but I’ll try to explain in the best I can …

    Right now we have two shipping zones set up: Continental USA and Rest of the world. And we offer free shipping on equipment (shipping class) to Continental USA.

    The problem is when a Continental USA customer orders equipment and lists a PO Box, we have to ship USPS Priority Mail, which is more expensive for us than UPS. However, for our other shipping zone, PO Box is fine. Ideal situation would be to give the continental USA customer the option of shipping to a PO Box (for equipment only) but with an upcharge of say $25 and then explain/prompt saying that shipping to regular address would be free. Is this possible?

    Another solution would be to simply show the message for no PO Box for only Continental USA shipping zone and Equipment shipping class.

    We’ve released version 2.0.0 which gets us halfway to your request.

    You can now specify which shipping methods within a shipping zone you would like to allow for shipping to P.O. Boxes.

    Also, we added a few new filters which can get you what you want faster while I move on to a few other plugin updates before coming back to restrict by shipping class (since we’re getting into mixed cart situations with that).
