I am creating a WordPress site for a client. I needed to make a special ‘role’ for the owner, so I installed Member. However I want to be able to allow my ‘owner’ to see certain plugins, and be able to use them, but I have site management plug-ins that I do not want the owner to see or use.

How do I grant or deny access to selected plugins?

    Hi @littleshopofdelights

Members plugin allows you to manage roles and permissions provided by plugins and themes. We don’t have a section for each plugin. Plugin authors can use any capability they want, including custom capabilities to access pages and services. If you know which capabilities are required to edit your plugins section, you can assign those capabilities to a user/role.

Keep in mind that many plugins create admin settings pages using a native capability associated with administrators, such as manage_options so in that case, you need to contact the plugin author.

    Best
